Under data protection law, individuals have a right to be informed about how a school uses any personal data that held about them. We comply with this right by providing ‘privacy notices’ to individuals where we are processing their personal data.
Barnet Special Education Trust, Oak Lodge School, Heath View, London N2 0QY, is the ‘data controller’ for the purposes of data protection law. As a public body, we are required to appoint a Data Protection Officer (DPO) to ensure our compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation 2018 and any other subsequent data laws enacted by the UK Government.
